Nomination at Shahdara Bar Association (Karkardooma Court)
Senior Advocate Sh. Sanjay Thakur filed his nomination for the post of Vice President on 20.05.2022 in Shahdara Bar Association election to be held on 3rd June 2022.
There was a huge crowd of his supporters when he marched to file his nomination from his chamber No. 622 , E- Block to the Nomination Centre at Karkardooma Court , Dellhi. It was really a historic moment when his supporters took him on their shoulders and raised slogans – “Kaha pade ho chakkar me , koi nhi h takkar me”.
Senior Advocate Sh. Santosh Sharma said that – “Sh. Sanjay Thakur has been in legal practice for last many years at Karkardooma Court, Delhi and he has been constantly fighting for the cause of advocates and always raised his voice for the issues concerning the welfare of the lawyers’ fraternity.”
Many of his colleagues say that Sanjay Thakur is very down to earth and polite in his behavior. He is always ready to help other advocates. He is the helping hand for junior advocates too who consider him as their mentor.
It was really interesting to see that the young advocates in a very large number came in his support at the occasion of filing nomination. Sh. Sanjay Thakur is being considered as a strong candidate for the post of Vice President in the forthcoming election of Karkardooma Court.
After filing of nomination , the supporters enjoyed sweets and gathered at his chamber for taking refreshments. People were wishing him a great success in the coming election. Sanjay Thakur was drawing the attention of all people because of his humorous , joyful and interactive nature. He has outstanding talent of interacting with advocates of all age group.
Mr. Thakur said -” I have very important and broad plans for the welfare of the members of the Bar. The Shahdara Bar Association has to ensure the social security of the advocates by implementing group life and medical insurance for all members on the expenses of the Association. The new advocates should be given stipends by the Association in their starting phase of legal practice.”
Mr. Sanjay Thakur further said – ” The honest efforts can change the entire scenario and I will try to make an answerable and responsible Bar if the members of the Shahdara Bar Association elect me as Vice President in the forthcoming election to be held on 03.06.2022. I request all members to support , vote and elect me.”
